hello: Would U know if the stock fan setup on a TB is a 2 speed. I believe it's hi and low but does the stock fan spin faster in the hi range?

Yes the stock setup has a low and high speed. The high speed comes on with A/C, or if the high temp switch is activated.

hello: I got to drive around a little yesterday with the ambiant temp. in the 60's no hi way just around town. My coolant temp. was around 180 plus or minus and the fans R on all the time at that temp. That's normal with your chip correct. I'll be driving more so there will be more to tell.

Your chip is set up for a 160 stat, so in your case the fan will stay on.

hello: Let's say the coolant temp is at 180 because of the stat and I'm driving at hy ways speeds. That temp. should not change so the fans will never shut off, correct. That can't be good. I have not driven any extended time with the 180 stat. yet. Just thinking. Any thoughts.

That's normal for the fans to stay on. It will not cause any problems.
