Been awhile I have a v5.6 turbotweak classic chip (order 4695) will this work with the gen 2 translator and with the gen 2 I wouldn't no longer need the maf translator

The TT chip will work with the Gen2, but all the features of the Gen2 would not be enabled.

I don't quite understand the 2nd question. The Gen 2 is a MAF Translator.

I will no longer need the maf translator i'm running now. this one will replace it with a few more tuneable options correct?

Yes, that's correct. You will be replacing your basic Translator with different version Translator (the Gen2).
