Torque Converter Lock-up

Eric,
I think I'm having TCC lock-up issues. I know your chip doesn't control the lock-up points and such but I'm wondering what role the ecu plays in it. The converter seems to lock-up when it is supposed to as witnessed on my Scanmaster G. I can see the TCC display come on and the rpm will drop slightly. I don't think it is unlocking properly though even when the scanmaster shows the tcc unlocked so I was wondering about the ecu control. Does the light turn on and off because the computer commands it or does the tcc solenoid engaging cause the light to turn on? Can the converter/solenoid be sticking in lock-up with the indicator showing off? I'm thinking the computer is commanding unlock but the tcc solenoid or the lock-up clutch itself is not releasing all of the way.

The reason I am thinking I am having an issue is that the truck is pulling hard against the brakes at stoplights and jumps off the line when I release the brakes. It is also shaking the truck pretty hard and may be contributing to the stalling issue I am having at stoplights. The way it feels when coming to a stop is like the brakes are grabbing and releasing. Sort of the same feeling you would get with pressing and releasing the clutch or down shifting while braking on a manual. I can't tell if the rpms are changing due to slowing down though. When I shift into neutral as I'm stopping it doesn't act this way. Anyway this can be contributing to the code 44 I'm getting as well?

Thanks
