Scanmaster G with powerlogger says No Data

I just got my Scanmaster G the other day.. tried to install it today. I connected to pin 7 on powerlogger input board. I flashed the powerlogger module with the latest software. Still no communication. The scanmaster G option is checked off in the powerlogger software. I have been using the normal powerlogger software for over a month and it's been working fine. I don't want to have to drag the laptop with me and my USB on my computer is getting worn out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried connecting it to the aldl port under the radio, just to see if it communicates that way?

I will try next weekend and check back. Don't have time during the week. Work two jobs. Side question. Are your 5.7 street chips designed for 160 or 180 thermostat?

I assume a 160 stat normally, but I can program to whatever the customer wants.

So this sounds like a powerlogger setup issue. How old is the powerlogger? Do you know what software version it is (the PLC software)?

I just bought the powerlogger a few months ago from you. And just got the scanmaster from you. So not that old. I'll check the version tommorow.

If it's that new, then it should be fine.
It really sounds like a bad connection between the scanmaster and powerlogger. I would double check that the beige cable is fully seated in both the PL input module and the powerlogger board, and make sure the wire connected to terminal 7 is making good contact.
Also double check that the Scanmaster G option stayed on.
If all that is good, then I'll have to check it out here.

when you select the scanmaster G option, the laptop/PL need to enter (or be in) monitor mode for the selection to be sent to the PL.

It is selected scanmaster G in powerlogger. I have been using the powerlogger without any hiccups. Just no communication through the direct connection. I have a 3 bar map sensor connected to the direct connection module and it works perfectly. I'm not sure if I can get back to the car for 3 weeks. I have a crazy busy schedule.
