Chip Instructions for the 6.0 and 6.1 wideband Chip

Eric,
I notice that the 6.0 instructions now state the default values for the AF values as 'Varies'.

Why is that? Does it vary with the type of WBo2? The original instructions I got said the AF defaults were 10.8/10.8/11.5 for
1-2/3-4/mid-boost. Is that correct for my setup with PLX wb?

Thanks.

Some people asked for different default settings, some also default to off (9.9). Whatever yours is when you reset the ECM is the default. I didn't want to make difference instructions for each chip, so I changed it to "varies" in the instructions. I should probably say "varies by chip".

OK, thanks. I am guessing my chip's defaults are the ones you originally documented since I haven't changed them.

One more question: there was a thread with a question about how much people have to increase fueling because of cold weather. With the 6.0, do you even have to worry about that? Cold air means more air going in which should cause the 6.0 chip to increase fueling to compensate to maintain the target AFR, right?

Yep, it will add fuel on its own to maintain the target air/fuel ratio.

Updated the instructions to clarify some things. (same link from the 1st post)

6.0 updates?

Eric, just browsing the forums. Does the 6.1 WB update also include the closed loop idle option like the 5.7 update? Keep up the good work!

The 6.1 adds the capability to change the parameters in the powerlogger software, in addition to using the gas-pedal method.
