Autometer WB instead, which sensor is good?

My gauge works fine but today it went wonky. I am sure it needs a new sensor. I have the Bosch LSU 4.2 0258007206

Is this still a good sensor to use? I have a 6-pin connector.

By the way, this is used in conjunction with a 6.1 chip so the wideband is controlling the fuel. Got to have that working correctly. Car is very rich at idle, 10:1 - 11:1.

Thanks,

John

I ordered a replacement for what I had Bosch 17205. Took a while to figure out which one it is. Fingers crossed.

That fixed it. Took a while, I powered the ECM down, R&I the chip, powered back up and let it run for about 30 minutes. Finally got back up to a 12.5 - 13:1 AFR idle - it stayed on 11.6 for a looong time. Needed to adjust the IAC down to 15-20 and reset the TPS. I also replaced the regular O2 with a Denso 234-1001 just in case. Runs nice now. Does take a little more cranking to start but once going, it seems like it will pass emissions again.

Having a conversation with myself, oh well, maybe it will help someone in the future.

Not familiar with the Autometer stuff, but using the original sensor is likely the correct choice.
