Thanks Eric. Just to get a bit more clear on this, The GROUND would be at 'sensor ground' on the ecm right?

Yes, if its a sensor, then the ground would go to a sensor ground at the ECU.

Also, If I were to do that at the MAT, TPS, D12 location, could I share a ground with another ground as long as it was down stream from the Resistor connection would that be okay?

The pull up resistor is not connected on the ground side, so it doesn't matter. You can share the sensor ground at D12, or use the sensor ground at C1, either one.
