what kind of adapter do I need?

I need help! What kind of adapter do I need to run a 4" tube w/ the blade style Maf Sensor with the original translator?

I don't have those adapters, but I believe Full Throttle Speed may have it. Another option is to find a pigtail that plugs into it, and cut off/splice it to the Translator wiring.

FYI, that MAF setup can be very touchy with airflow turbulence, which can cause BLM issues or tip-in stumbles. It works ok for some guys, but others have switched back to the 3.5" LS1 MAF.

That was gonna be my next question!!! Is there one of these sensors for a particular year/ model that works better than others? And if I do have a issue like you describe is there a fix or can the translator settings help things a bit? thanks Eric for your expertise!!! I'll be ordering a new TT 6.1 chip soon I will be sending a 5.7 chip in exchange just FYI....

No, it would be a 3-pin to 5-pin, but not the same one as the 85mm MAF.
