Increasing Boost 2-3 pounds in a stock Typhoon?

I'm close to getting a stock 93 typhoon with low miles. In thinking of my plans for it I would like to run 95-96 octane via royal purple max boost additive added to 93 octane here in New England. Would that allow me to increase boost a couple pounds, what would I need? Was thinking..

Fuel pump
Velosyty chip
Scanmaster

Would I need a 3 bar map?

Anything else?

That sounds like it would work. Definitely need to get the octane up. I would use a 3-bar MAP. If using stock injectors, you might start to go lean, but increasing fuel pressure will give you more room.

Suppose I need to add boost gauge to this list.. anything else?

How would I increase boost to say 17lbs.. would the velosyty chip be programmed to do it or is it raised mechanically?

I noticed you only sell chip combos with 60 lb injectors.. any down side to the 42's?

The 3-bar replaces the 2-bar directly, although the stock boost gauge will be wrong.
The scanmaster will display boost, but there's nothing wrong with an external guage also.
I can program more boost into the chip. The chip also has user adjustable boost target.
The 42's work fine, but most guys go straight to the 60's for future growth.

Would that require an adjustable regulator or would just a new fuel pump suffice?
