Hot Air AXiS & Alky w/IAT

Hi Eric, hope all is well!
I have a question regarding the installation of an ambient air temp sensor with an 87 ECM on a 1984 GN Hot Air car with Alky.
Is it possible to install an air temp sensor on this setup so that it can aid in tuning with the 87 ecm?
Do I need to run a new wire to the ECM?
The Alky is going to affect the sensor if it is after the nozzle, so would an ambient sensor be sufficient?
OR
Can I put the sensor in the EGR port (since EGR is removed)?

You cannot use an airtemp sensor with the stock ECM when using the Axis. The timing adjustment signal should be connected to that input.
