Hi,

Can you make adjustments to Extender Extreme G with powerlogger? or do you still need to use lights, AC, Calpak, gas pedal?

Thanks, Mike

It depends on when you bought the chip. If the part number on the chip has an "A" on the end, then yes you can do it through Powerlogger. I think the "A" revision has been out for 4-5 years.

Hi Eric,
Thanks,
I have 2- 60# Extender G chips. I thought the A ment alky.
1-GSOX7AO6A
2-GSOX4AO6
I got the Gen2 system before I got your 6.1 chip which is awesome. I may try the Gen2 out, being able to set the parameters w/Powerlogger makes it some much easier.
All really need is a standard translator?
Would the 6.1 chip work w/Axis translator?

Thanks, Mike

If using the 6.1 chip, you only really need a basic Translator.

You can run the 6.1 chip with the Axis interface, but there wouldn't be much advantage compared to the basic Translator, since you do the spark and fuel adjustments with the 6.1's chip parameters.
