E85

Hello, I’m interested in switching to e85 for my 87 GN. I’m not sure what is needed to do this other than a new chip and different injectors. I have the original fuel lines and an adjustable fuel regulator as well as twin ATR pumps. Any help is appreciated, thanks

You just need to make sure your injectors and fuel pump/lines are big enough for your goals, then the E85 chip.
How fast are you planning to go? or what is your setup?

hello, I recently ordered a new chip from you but can’t remember the chip number. I would like to get to 20 lbs of boost with my setup. Trying not to change fuel lines, injectors etc. I currently have the TE45A with 72 injectors , ported irons,206/206 roller cam and 3200 stall vigilante converter. Current chip is for 91 octane and 15-16 psi boost

I think you could get to 20psi on E85 with your setup, just changing to an E85 chip. I would likely set up the chip to max at 90% DC, then you could start increasing boost and watch air/fuel. If it starts to go lean, then you know you went too far.

Hello, I just removed my ECU to install a powlogger. Just realized that the new chip I ordered #20722 is set for 16-18 psi boost. I had ordered for 15-16 boost since I can’t run that high on 93. My old chip #9452 was set for 16-18 as well and was too rich. Is this a problem? I also want to use my digital auto meter fuel pressure and vac/boost gauges for data input, is this possible?

The boost on the label is just a general range. We did lean out the newer chip.

If your gauges have 0-5v analog outputs, then they can be connected to the powerlogger input module.
