Connection issue

I downloaded the SyTy ADX file and am using it with ALDLDroid on a Galaxy Tab 2 and am having data transmission issues. It will connect to the gauge but all of the values are way off and many are red and X'd out. I have tried updating the app, Android software, and toggling on and off different options in the app menu but cannot get it to work properly. Any suggestions?

ALDLdroid made an update over the last year that caused the ADX file to not work anymore. It works fine with Tunerpro, but not ALDLdroid. Currently I have not been successful in getting it working, but I have been trying different changes to the ADX, so hopefully I'll come up with something that works.

No problem. I think it would be a good idea to have a backup plan anyways. I do agree that ALDLdriod it an excellent application, especially when driving.

Has there been any progress with this .adx file?
I dropped a note to the ALDLdroid developer who responded as follows

There was some changes made to the app earlier this year that I believe broke the ADX file used by scanmasterg. The reason for the change in the app was that the app was not supporting the "Align to header" feature of TunerPro ADX files correctly before. This has been corrected but in the process, it broke a few ADX files that were relying on the old (broken) way of supporting this feature. The changes to the ADX file should be very minimal but it's not possible for me to do it without one of their gauges to test.

Bluetooth datalogging to my phone was the main appeal for the gauge in conjunction with the TT chip so really hoping you can support and get this fixed?

Thanks

Marcus
